Built in 1902, the golf course at the Constant Spring Golf Club is one of the oldest in Jamaica. The course was originally only a nine-hole course but it was made into an 18-hole course in the 1930's. The course and the surrounding residential area have an elegant atmosphere that is both luxurious and relaxing. The course has a few challenges but players of all skill levels and abilities will be able to enjoy the course. Constant Spring Golf Club is short and tight with spectacular views. One hole that offers a particularly scenic view is the 13th, which also features a narrow fairway and steep valley.

Oldest Caribbean Track according to the locals...

Constant Spring Golf Club is a hidden gem in the northern part of Kingston. One of the locals told me it is the oldest track in the Caribbean. The course plays short from the white tees, and can get a little narrow on some of the holes. Cell reception is great if you have international data and want to use your phone for GPS around the course. I used theGrint app with no issues whatsoever.

The pro shop has all the essentials one might need to play a round when you left your sticks at home. While the rentals are quite a bit dated, they did the trick for a friend and I just fine. I will say there is a good chance it will be a mixed bag of irons and metal woods, but fun nonetheless.

The course recommends that you take a caddy. While not mandatory, I think it was well worth it. Before the round starts, negotiate with your caddy or caddymaster and ask about the bag fee. Do not assume the fee is for your whole group if only one caddy goes out; it may very well be per person.

After the round, the 19th Hole is a great place to sit back and relax with a frosty beverage, but if you want “real food” there is a Jerk restaurant that comes highly recommended you’ll see on the left as you drive up to the course. If I find myself back in Kingston, I will most definitely play this track again!

The prices you posted in the picture are there per person or is that per group?
